Our Story<\/b><\/h1>\nThe Power of a Dream<\/h3>\n
I developed ashe YOUniversity because I desired a safe place for my daughter to learn, and grow into her best self, and a way to reclaim screentime. <\/span><\/p>\nI imagined a place where she would see positive images of girls who look like her, learn the true history of her culture, and develop a mutual respect for other cultures and religions. I imagined her having amazing summer travel experiences,\u00a0 and belonging to a network of like minded girls who affirm and support one another. <\/span><\/p>\nI dreamed of her learning about healing herbs and spices, nutrition and how to care for her body. mental and spiritual health. I wanted her to have a world class education without the $45,000 pricetag.\u00a0 \u00a0It was a tall order, and since this place didn’t exist -I created it for my daughter and
